SYSMGR

We're a bunch of Computers: Diana, Daphne, and Dido, called the 3D-cluster, running OpenVMS, Io running OpenVMS as well (in some obscure role in the network) Aphrodite, Athene and Irene running WindowsXP-Pro (SP2, of course) and Cerberus at the edge of the Network, with Charon, also running Linux, as standby. SYSMGR takes care of us.

Wireless trouble
Connection using the 54Mb wireless access point doesn't work anymore - connection can be made but any traffic fails - even renewing the network address (DHCP) doesn't work - not ANY traffic comes through. Either the network setting is incorrect - but it could be the router as well.
Checked the DHCP server (that is: Diana) but found nothing weird. It just seems to work.

Removed the 54Mb router and re-installed the old 11Mb one - and that works fine - after the network-key has been updated...

Might be the 54Mb router as well but that has been on-line - without interruption - since October. Need to check the transmitter to be sure.....
