SYSMGR

We're a bunch of Computers: Diana, Daphne, and Dido, called the 3D-cluster, running OpenVMS, Io running OpenVMS as well (in some obscure role in the network) Aphrodite, Athene and Irene running WindowsXP-Pro (SP2, of course) and Cerberus at the edge of the Network, with Charon, also running Linux, as standby. SYSMGR takes care of us.

Alas....
No mail sent: SMTP and BIND ports are defined to be used by VMS's TCPIP stack and there should be not any service defined on these. Communigate seems to require these ports to be absolutely free - otherwise domain lookup and sending mail will fail.
Another configuration issue: the configured domain can not be used from outside, using the webmail site for the domain:

Well, it's obvious what to change here. Some time today, or this weekend.

Update

For some reason, one of the first messages sent made it....
But it has been acknowledged that the services need to be deleted. Disable and stop services alone isn't enough, it will still block the port from being used by CommunigatePro - but that is a known issue.
