Back from Bootcamp
Got back from VMS bootcamp, learned a lot of new issues: DECnet, dump analysis, RDB, TCPIP stuff (SSH, for instance) and added interesting contacts to the list. Mail could be read via web mail interface.
Today read out all over 100 messages, send report of 22 Mb and found POP went wrong on next invokation to retrieve mail, increased PGFLQUOTA for POP server. Webmail was no longer reachable, all alias IP addresses were gone! re-established them - and teh system began thrashing. Had to reset (^P) and crashed it before restart. No rpoblem coming up, checked sysdump: no room left in pagefile. Need to investigate (now know how to do that).
